Mario VIDEIRA

 

Pianist and professor at the Music Department at ECA / USP.

He holds a doctorate in philosophy from the University of São Paulo-USP, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Marco Aurélio Werle. He published the book "O Romantismo ea Belo Musical" (UNESP, 2006), as well as several articles in specialized magazines in Brazil and abroad.

As a CNPq / DAAD fellow, he did a research internship at Universität Tübingen, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Manfred Frank (2007-2008). He published the first Portuguese translation of the book "Berg: Mestre da Transição Minima", by the German philosopher Theodor W. Adorno (UNESP, 2010).

He was Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Music at ECA / USP (2013-2017) and editor of “Revista Música” (2012-2017). He is currently president of the Graduate Commission of ECA / USP.
